Our Mission
We help veteran women stabilize, rebuild, and bloom.
The mission of The Flower House is to help veteran women stabilize, rebuild, and remember
who they are.
We provide safe, structured housing and wraparound support, but our work goes deeper than
beds and buildings. We exist to remind women who have served that peace, safety, comfort,
dignity, and security belong to them.
At The Flower House, veteran women are supported in reclaiming their confidence,
strengthening their independence, restoring their mental and emotional wellness, building
financial stability, and moving into permanent housing with clarity and purpose.
We do not simply house women.
We help them bloom.

A resident is welcomed into a safe, structured environment where she can breathe, settle, and begin again with dignity.
Stabilize
She receives support with immediate needs, case management, wellness, documents, benefits, and daily structure.
Grow
She works toward employment, income, savings, life skills, healing, and personal goals with consistent accountability.
Transition Home
She prepares for permanent housing with a plan, resources, support, and the confidence to move forward.

Who We Serve
The Flower House serves veteran women who are ready to bloom.
We serve women who are ready for what is next — women who may be coming out of hardship,
homelessness, crisis, or uncertainty, but who are prepared to move with focus, intention, and
accountability.
Our program is designed for veteran women who want more than a temporary place to stay. The
Flower House is for women who are ready to stabilize, participate, set goals, follow through, and
take the next right steps toward permanent housing, employment, wellness, and independence.
We are focused.
We are goal-driven.
We are outcome-centered.
And we serve women who are ready to engage in that process.
The Women We Support
The Flower House serves eligible veteran women, including those who are:
- Homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Transitioning from crisis, instability, or unsafe living conditions
- Seeking structure, accountability, employment, and long-term housing
- Ready to participate in a goal-driven transitional housing program
- Working to rebuild confidence, wellness, income, and stability
- Service-connected veterans
- Humanitarian veterans
- Women with children, up to two children, ages 12 and under
Our residents, known as Bloomies, come from different backgrounds and life experiences, but
they share a common goal: they are ready to move forward.

We understand that every woman’s journey looks different. Some may need support with
employment. Some may need help gathering documents. Some may need wellness support,
benefit navigation, transportation assistance, or connection to housing programs. Some may
simply need a safe place where they can breathe, think clearly, and begin again.
Wherever she begins, we meet her with structure, compassion, and a plan.
A Free Program for Eligible Veterans
The Flower House program is 100% free for eligible veterans through our partnership with the
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
This means eligible residents can focus on rebuilding their lives without the immediate burden of
rent while in the program. With food and shelter provided, Bloomies are encouraged to use this
season wisely: increase income, save money, attend appointments, participate in programming,
and prepare for permanent housing.
This is a protected opportunity.
And we expect residents to use it with purpose.
